BYOB - Bring Your Own Bag

Here at Mason & Greens we are all about less waste and more sustainability.  To nurture those ideals, we ask that you shop with your own bags to carry your goods home in.  Bring your own produce bags as well!  There are billions of bags (yes with a B), that end up in the trash every year.  Help us reduce that amount by bringing your own.  Forgot your bags, we will have reusable organic cotton bags in the shop for your convenience.

BYOJ - Bring Your Own Jar

Bring your own jars!  Some items you will rather want to put in a jar (maple syrup is probably not well suited for cloth bags).  Please bring your own jars.  Any jar will do!  They can be new jars, upcycled jars, they don't even have to be glass, we won't judge!  If you have an old plastic soap bottle you want to refill, bring it in!  Don't have your own jars, no worries, we have many available for purchase in the shop! 

Tare

When you come in with your empty container, you can weigh it or we can do that for you.  There are weigh stations in the grocery section and at the front counter.  Our system uses re-usable tare tags, these record the weight of your container so it can be deducted at checkout.  A staff member will be happy to show you how they work if it your first time in the shop!
