Organic Baby Lima Beans

Available in 1/2 pound, 1 pound and 2 pound options.  Product will ship in a compostable Kraft paper pouch.  

A mild flavored legume with a smooth texture. A rich source of Potassium. Can be used in soups, casseroles, and on rice or your favorite grain. Make succotash by adding whole kernel cut corn.

Cooked beans can be stored up to 1 week in the refrigerator and up to 6 months in the freezer.


Directions

1 cup Baby Lima Beans in  4 cups Water. Sort and rinse before cooking. Soak beans overnight.  Drain and rinse beans.  Add 4 cups of water for every 1 cup of beans.  Liquid should be 1-2 inches above the top of beans.  Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 45 minutes, or pressure cook 3-5 minutes. 1 cup of beans yields 2 – 2 1/2 cups cooked beans.
