Our bamboo charcoal water filters come from bamboo that is already considered a waste product. Instead of taking virgin wood or bamboo and burning it to make new charcoal, these charcoal sticks are repurposing what would otherwise be thrown out.
THE PRICE IS PER OUNCE. PICTURED IS 1 OUNCE OF CHARCOAL FILTER STICKS.
Bamboo Charcoal Filters are a plastic-free solution for better tasting tap water.
Never activated with chemicals, it's safe to toss in your compost at the end of its life.
How to Use:
Three simple steps:
1. Rinse, boil for 5 minutes, and dry in the sun.
2. Add to a one-liter of tap water. We recommend 3 pieces per liter of water. Add more pieces for larger containers.
3. Let stand for 1 hour and drink! Your charcoal should last around 4 weeks depending on quality of your tap water.
End of Life:
Compost. Or crush pieces and add to your garden.
