Who's up for a barbecue this weekend? We are and so is the "meat" fork. Preferably used to poke and move around a seitan steak on the grill. We see you vegan grill masters out there!
The "meat" fork is made of oiled olive wood.
Olive wood not only features a particularly attractive grain, it is also extremely hard due to its slow growth. The high oil content makes it water-repellent, non-slip, and supple.
Wash by hand with warm water, soap and a soft sponge. Dry them before putting them away and every now and then run them down with regular olive oil or sunflower oil to preserve the beauty of the wood.
